This inquiry was launched in September 2015, building on the Health Committee's report on children and adolescents' mental health and CAMHS. It considered, among other things, whether current guidance on the mental health and well-being of children in care and care leavers was sufficient, the extent and quality of services provided, the co-ordination between different bodies in the provision of care, and how young people and their carers can be more involved in designing services for looked-after children.
